Welcome to hotel Mesikämmen, an architecturally unique conference and spa hotel offering an exiting experience for the whole family right next door to Ähtäri Zoo. Part of the hotel has been carved out of the bedrock, with natural rock visible on three floors. Here you can get a good night´s sleep in a peaceful environment surrounded by nature and enjoy our tasty meals.
Our cosy and spacious rooms are perfect for conference delegates as well as holidays with the family. We have 101 rooms with terrace and lake view, flat screen TV, radio, telephone and bathroom with shower. Room service, safety deposit boxes and children´s playroom are available.
In connection with the hotel is a spa which has finnish saunas, a family sauna for private use, condition pool, children´s pool, a pool with massage and separate Jacuzzi. The spa has a small gym.
Close by, you will find a jogging track which in winter doubles as a lit skiing track, tennis court, 18-hole golf course and a sports hall for badminton, squash and floorball. The world´s most famous village shop, Veljekset Keskinen is only 25 kilometres away from the hotel.
